I wrote a porn film. Can I still be a feminist?
Katie Glass has always worried whether enjoying porn makes her a hypocrite. Can erotica ever be female friendly? So when she’s offered the chance to make her own film, she gives it a go. Cut to a villa in Italy…
Sofi lies back on the bed, holding eye contact with Dave, making sure he’s watching. She has already playfully tied his hands with rope and gently pushed her pants into his mouth. Now her hand strokes her collarbone, cups her breast and slides down her stomach, past her suspender belt, moving between her legs. “Cut,” John shouts. “Katie,” Jane asks, “do you want more masturbating?”

I’ve seen Prince Harry’s future — cast away in (beige) Montecito
The Duke of Sussex is desperate to heal his royal rift. Having witnessed life in his adopted home town, the alternative might be unbearable, says Katie Glass
Poor Harry. (Why do all articles about him now seem to start like this?) Having lost his legal challenge to have reinstated the level of security he once relied on in the UK, which stopped when he abandoned public service as a senior royal to focus on lucrative commercial ventures in the US, he now says he is too scared for the safety of his wife, Meghan, and children, Archie, five, and Lilibet, three, to bring them back to his homeland, despite how much he misses it.

‘I shone a light on the Post Office scandal years ago – it’s heartbreaking they weren’t taken seriously until now’
It was after an article I’d written about the Post Office scandal was published in February 2020 that an email from a TV production company pinged into my inbox: “Having read your piece about the subpostmaster’s story, I know it’s crying out to be a drama.”
Four years later, it is. And to what effect. As a consultant to the ITV drama Mr Bates vs the Post Office, it has been thrilling to see. Not just because it’s exciting to have been part of it, but because it looks like these poor men and women whose lives have been devastated by this scandal will finally get the justice they deserve.
